Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using TRADESMART, written so you can actually read them.

1. Who we are

TRADESMART is operated by TRADESMART Technologies Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 1999000). Using our service means you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, a Nigerian resident or citizen, and complete our KYC checks before transacting. We reserve the right to refuse service or close accounts at our discretion, in line with applicable law.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the security of your login credentials and transaction PIN. Never share them. We will never ask for your PIN, password, or seed phrase.

4. Trading and settlement

Quoted rates are valid for the duration shown and may move with market conditions. Once a deposit is detected on-chain and confirmed, we settle Naira to your verified bank account, typically within minutes.

5. Fees

Our spread is shown transparently inside every quote before you commit. There are no hidden withdrawal fees on Naira payouts to Nigerian bank accounts.

6. Wrong-asset deposits

Sending the wrong cryptocurrency, the wrong network, or to a closed/expired address may result in permanent loss of funds. We will make best-efforts to recover, but cannot guarantee it.

7. Prohibited activity

You may not use TRADESMART for money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, or any activity prohibited by Nigerian law. We monitor and report suspicious activity to NFIU and EFCC where required.

8. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance via email and in-app notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any single claim is limited to the lesser of (a) the amount of the disputed transaction or (b) ₦5,000,000.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
